Coming close and then backing away

The act of leading someone on to influence one-way or the other

 

Junkie

• A person who craves something so much that nothing else is important in their life
• They will do, say, or try anything to simply satisfy the craving that they have for the substance

 

Getting what they crave is the most important purpose in their life.

 

John 4:23 (KJV) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

God craves praise and worship!

 

Isaiah 6:1-4 (KJV)

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

• Angels worshipping
• Created beings
• Holy, holy, holy

  • Foundations of heaven moved

 

Worship from created beings shook or moved the very foundations of heaven…

 

WHAT WILL OUR PRAISE DO?

• We have a song the angels cannot sing
• Freedom of choice

 

God is addicted to praise…

• Craves it
• Desires it
• Has to have it
• Will do just about anything to receive it

 

He loves praise so much, He;

• Said that He would rather live there than any where else
• Wiped out city walls because people shouted
• Sent angels to destroy enemies because of praise
• Gave commands for us to praise
  • Continually
  • Morning, noon, and evening
  • With instruments
  • With our mouth
  • Earth to praise him
  • Everything that hath breath

 

GOD IS A PRAISE JUNKIE!
