Baby Dedication Letter to Child

Dearest ______________,

On this date your parents came before me, in the presence of your Church Family here at First United Pentecostal Church of Oakdale, to dedicate themselves and you to the Lord whom they worship and serve.

They recognize you as a gift from God, and give thanks to Him for bringing you into their lives.  They promised to train you in the things of God, looking to Him for divine guidance, wisdom, and strength.  They asked God to bless your life and make you a blessing to others as you allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with His power.

As your church family, we have pledged to encourage your parents as they grow in the faith, and to always be there for you when you need help in living the Christian life that God has planned for you.  Although you will not remember this day, I pray that we will always remember the pledge we have made to God on your behalf.

May you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus, and grow up to live a life pleasing to our Lord.
