Jesus Is Your Savior
Matt 1:20-21
20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

· To Mary it was just a task that she was favored to be involved in. For Joseph it was a tough adventure. To bring into this world the Savior, the Lord, the King was above all that they have ever done. What an awesome responsibility, yet what a weight that was on their shoulders.
· Today in the 21st century church, there are over 2 billion confessed Christians. They have proclaimed that I will follow Jesus Christ and live for Him, but what does it really mean to be a confessing Christian?
Ps 32:5
5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

· David confessed his transgressions unto the Lord and he found forgiveness for his sin. David understood where he could go and who he could trust and so he turned to the only one that could save him from His sin.
· Today we come to God and our salvation begins with confession of our sins. If we are bound by sin, there is salvation from it. If you are bound by drugs there is Hope. If you are bound by alcohol, there is Hope. If you are bound by anything that is keeping you from knowing Jesus, there is Hope for you tonight…
· Satan wants to kill and steal. The Bible says that he has come to kill, steal and destroy. What he is after is a life that belongs to God, but because of sin, man has been separated from God. You don’t have to be separated from God. You don’t have to separated from the King because there is salvation from sin in Jesus Christ…
· We have ex-alcoholics here tonight.
· We have ex-drug users here tonight.
· We have ex-fornicators here tonight.
· But Jesus paid for their sin!
· I have come to declare to you tonight, there is no one like Jesus and He is the Savior of the World!
· Tonight you might be here and you don’t know how to get to Him. You might not understand the Holy Ghost.
· You might not understand the excitement.
· Just know this, Jesus is the savior of the World and he has come to meet you here tonight.
· Through all the stories of the Bible, Jesus always was the answer. He did not cease to be the answer in the 21st century church, nor will he ever cease to be the answer. Everything that was made, was made by Him.
· If you are confused in life, Jesus is the answer.
· If you are dealing with depression, Jesus is the answer.
· If you have addictions you can’t shake, Jesus is the answer.
· If you need healing for your body, Jesus is the answer.
· If you need financial help, Jesus is the answer.
· If you need direction for your life, Jesus is the answer.
· I have come here tonight to proclaim that, Jesus is the answer to all that you will ever need.
Acts 2:36-39
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

· Peter preached on the day of Pentecost after the initial outpouring of the Holy Ghost. He preached about the Savior of the world. We don’t need a new message…We don’t need a new doctrine…All we need is Jesus and you have all you have ever needed.
· The apostles grew their church through the power of Jesus. It was Jesus they preached, it was Jesus they taught, it was Jesus they lifted up.
· We can not afford to get lazy in our preaching about Jesus. The world is wanting to know Him and we must tell everybody…
· What’s so special about Jesus?
· He has saved me from sin. He has delivered me from sickness. He is my savior. He is my salvation. He is my deliver. He is my provider. He is all that I need.
· That is Jesus…The savior of the World.
Conclusion:
· Jesus died for us. He went through the agonizing pain so that sin would be defeated. Today, I can stand here and say, Jesus defeated sin. I don’t have to live a life of sin. I don’t have to wonder if I will make it to heaven or not, because Jesus made a way of escape.
· Tonight, He wants to fill someone with the Holy Ghost.
· Tonight, He wants to deliver someone from addiction.
· Tonight, He wants to give someone Hope in this Hopeless world.
