Haggai 2:6-9    Acts 4:29-35

The Shaking of Nations:

It was by a shaking that God brought Israel out of bondage of Egypt.

The people of God need not fear before their enemies, that would soon fall before them.

It was by a shaking of hearts and souls that Jesus was made manifest to us.  He shakes the earthly treasures that we would be led to desire heavenly treasures.

 “Seek ye first the kingdom of God…….”

The great Jehovah is shaking many kingdoms by awful judgements and unexpected revolutions.

“War and Rumors of War”

Mark 13:7

7          And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

EARTHQUAKES

Mark 13:8

8          For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

DESIRES OF ALL NATIONS

Christ is the desire and glory of His Church.

As the Glory of God filled this house.

Tabernacle in the wilderness.

           

            Fire Upon the Altar

            Shekinah

            Spirit of Prophecy

Temple – With all its grand splendor.

            Silver / Gold

            Arc of the Covenant

 

GLORY OF THE LATTER HOUSE V9.

 

All the material glory and splendor of the first house was eclipsed by the SECOND TEMPLE,  as God came manifest in the flesh.

1 Cor 3:16

16       Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1 Cor 6:19

19       What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

1 Cor 3:17

17       If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

AND WHEN THEY HAD PRAYED….

Acts 4:31

31       And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Luke 6:38

38       Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
