Into The Deep

Luk 5:2  And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

They were calling it a day they were closing shop

Luk 5:3  And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Luk 5:4  Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep,[ profundity out of the shallow  mystery] and let down your nets for a draught. [catching]

Luk 5:5  And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Luk 5:6  And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

Luk 5:7  And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

[a blessing that I cant hold I must give it away or it will sink me]

Luk 5:8  When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Luk 5:9  For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

Peter had sat and listened but it was not until he moved on what he had heard even in his doubt

It was in the depths that he caught that which he had pursued, it wasn’t on the shore it wasn’t while he was sitting and listening it was after he heard he did what he heard

Luk 8:29  (For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)

Luk 8:30  And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

Luk 8:31  And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep. [abusos abyss depthless bottomless]

Hell can’t stand the depths,

They love to hang around shallow minds spirits prayer lives and walks

But when we start launching out into the deep places of god we start catching that which we have needed and we start losing things that we do not need

Eph 3:17  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Eph 3:18  May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Eph 3:19  And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Eph 3:20  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

It is revealed to us here that before that we can be filled all the fullness of god and the love of god and before we can understand some things we have roots and be grounded

Deep roots and a deep foundation

The Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy is going to fall. Scientists travel yearly to measure the building’s slow descent. They report that the 179-foot tower moves about one-twentieth of an inch a year, and is now 17 feet out of plumb. They further estimate that by the year 2007 the 810-year old tower will have leaned too far and will collapse onto the nearby restaurant, where scientists now gather to discuss their findings. Quite significantly, the word “Pisa” means “marshy land,” which gives some clue as to why the tower began to lean even before it was completed. Also–its foundation is only 10 feet deep!

Psa 107:23  They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

Psa 107:24  These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

We must believe that we can see the works and wonders of the lord in the deep

Psa 42:7  Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.

There is a call from the depth of the spirit to the spirit of man to come out of the shallow and into the deep

Psa 95:4  In his hand3027 are the deep places4278 of the earth:776 the strength8443 of the hills2022 is his also.

[In his power, or under his control as his own. In his govt. That is, he so possesses all things that they can be claimed by no other. His right over them is absolute and entire.]

1Pe 5:6  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

It is when I can put myself under his mighty hand under his governmental laws, I may not like them It may not be easy for me but when I will bend my will my way and my wants and my wishes to his hand

then the season is coming that god is going to lift me up

It is in his hand that I will see depths

under his governmental precepts rules and laws that will experience depts. And  the strength of the hills

the heights and treasures of the mountains

Luk 6:47  Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

Luk 6:48  He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

Luk 6:49  But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Gen 49:25 tells us that the blessing of the deep lieth under

If we are going to travel into depths then it is going to take some digging some searching some walking.
