The Unmovable Kingdom

Hebrews 12:22

22. But ye are come unto Mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels.

23. To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

24. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

25. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

26. Whose voice then shook the earth:

How many of you are reading tonight in a Thompson Chain Reference Bible? Anybody? Hold up your hand. Just a few of you. You’re really missing out if you don’t have one. To the right side of verse 26 in my Bible, the study Bible, Thompson Chain Reference Study Bible, it says these words: “The inauguration of the new dispensation.” The writer was able to discern that God was introducing a new dispensation to the Bride.

26. Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29. For our God is a consuming fire.

Heavenly Father, we thank You tonight that You’re Light in darkness. We thank You that You are Bread in hunger. We thank You that You are comfort when we are grieving. We thank You that You are Alpha and Omega. You are the Beginning and the End. You’re all that we have ever needed or will ever need. We thank You for the privilege of Your Word tonight. We thank You, Lord, that You have brought us here, gathered us under the banner of Your Name, that You might work the works of God in and through us.

We bind every demon stronghold. We command every spirit to bow to the Name and the preeminence of Jesus Christ.

We pray right now that You would anoint our hearts and anoint our ears to hear the Word of the Lord. May it take lodging in our inner being. And we’ll give You the glory and the honor and the praise for it all. For it’s in the Name that is above every name, the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray. Amen. And the church said, “Amen.”

You may be seated.

Several things I want to share with you tonight if you can give me your attention. In this passage of reading, the apostle first established to us that we had better not refuse the Voice that speaks from Heaven. You see, God was one time in the earth in a fleshly body, and man refused His Voice. And they did not escape by rejecting that Voice. The apostle said, “It’s a dangerous thing. Even more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him that speaketh from Heaven.”

How many of you believe that we’re still living in an hour that God is speaking from Heaven? I believe that. I believe that. And I believe that it behooves us tonight to heed the voice that speaks from Heaven, not to refuse or reject.

And I hear the Spirit saying, “How shall we escape? How shall we escape if we neglect such great salvation?”

Let me tell you something. What seems so very difficult to you and I, God has already made the way. Salvation for the body, soul, and spirit has already been purchased and made available to you and I. Though we may struggle after the flesh, we know that God has already laid a foundation. He’s already opened up the way. He’s already brought deliverance down among us. And all that we have to do tonight is to surrender to Him and let Him work that work of deliverance in us, to the edifying of the Son. So we receive that warning.

When Jesus was in the earth, His voice shook the earth. When we look at that in the Greek, we understand that it’s saying, “His words had great affect on the earth.” They shook Herod in the palace. They shook Agrippa in his palace. They shook the leaders, the potentates. It shook the religious world. It shook the synagogue, the priest. When His Voice was in the earth, it shook everything that it came in contact with. The words of Jesus were words of life to those who hungered after life. But I want you to know they were damning words to those who rejected life, and who would rather hold on to their religious tradition and governmental ideas.

But he said in verse 26 (I’ve preached this a lot, but God just put it on my heart again),

“Once more…” Somebody say, “Once more.” I want to hear you say it again. Once more. When we look at that word, that combination of words, that phrase “once more” in the Greek language, it indicates to us the removing of what can be shaken, so that that which cannot be shaken may be established.

Somebody ought to say right now, “Look out, Satan.” Because we know there is something that can be shaken, and that is the kingdom of the devil. The kingdom of the devil, the stronghold… Every high place that the devil has established, it can be shaken. Every bondage that the devil has placed in your life, it can be shaken. Every spirit of confusion in your life, it can be shaken. And Jesus said through the writer here, “Once more, once more, one more time will I shake not only the earth, but Heaven will also shake, so that that which cannot be shaken may be established.”

“What are you saying?”

I’m telling you, no matter how high, how lofty, how elaborate, how strong the devil may build his tower, all it takes is the anointed Voice of God going forth from Heaven, to shake that tower to the ground. No matter how strong and mighty the bulwarks of the devil, just one anointed voice, just one anointed word of deliverance can shake the bulwark, can shake the tower, can shake the walls of defense that the enemy has raised up.

And then there comes a removal time. There comes a time of sweeping away that which has crumbled. There comes a time of cleaning up the rubble and the debris.

I read in the newspaper today where the Turkish government has estimated that over 20,000 people have been killed in that earthquake. They’re expecting over 20,000. And they may never know exactly how many have been killed, because some were buried before they were ever counted. But they’re expecting the toll, when it’s said and done, to be over 20,000, which will make it the second greatest earthquake that Turkey has ever known.

Fifty years ago they suffered one that killed 30,000 people. That’s a lot of folks. They’re beginning now a tremendous effort of digging out from beneath the rubble.

When the shaking has finished and all the buildings have fallen, then there comes a time of casting away the debris, casting away the rubble, cleaning out the streets, so that they can begin the process of rebuilding.

I want you to know, yet once more the Voice of God will utter forth from Heaven and shake everything that can be shaken in this earth, especially that that has raised itself against the Bride of Jesus Christ. Let me tell you something tonight. God is particularly concerned. He is especially concerned about the kingdom of the devil that has been exalted at your house. The devil is… The Lord Jesus is particularly concerned about the tower that the devil has built, the stronghold that the devil has raised up in your life, because you’re a part of the Bride of Christ.

And when we recognize the Voice of God in the earth… And we already know how it will come. It’ll be no mystery. It’ll not come by another messenger, for there is never another church age. It’ll not come by another divine mystery, for the mysteries of God are finished in the earth. But that Voice of God that will come forth from Heaven and shake Heaven and sound in the earth and shake the earth, we’ve already heard how it will come. Can you remember? Do you recall how the final Voice of God will ring in the earth? I recall tonight the prophet of God saying, “The Bride of Jesus Christ… The final voice of God to the ages, will be in the Bride of Christ.”

Do you realize tonight that you hold in your heart the very word that will one day deliver you? Do you realize that the very voice of deliverance that will (hallelujah), that will one day break you forth out of that prison of flesh, that voice is in you. That word of deliverance is in you. The power of a breakthrough is in you. He said, “The final voice of God to the age will be in the Bride of Jesus Christ.”

The sooner you let the Kingdom come to you… “Thy kingdom come.” This is Kingdom teaching. “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

God has given us a way in His Word whereby His will can be done in the earth. Would you like for the will of God to be accomplished in the earth? Would you like for the will of God to be accomplished in your life? Then what did Jesus pray? “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.”

In order for the will of God to be done in the earth, and in order for the will of God to be done in you, you’ve got to let God establish His Kingdom in your heart. And in order for God to establish His Kingdom in your heart, you’re going to have to turn over the reign. You’re going to have to turn over the decision making process. You’re going to have to turn over the authority. (Help me preach.) Because there cannot be two kings in the Kingdom of the Lord.

He cannot establish His Kingdom in your heart until you’re willing to abdicate. Abdicate, surrender your authority. Step down off the throne. Quit issuing statements from the throne room of your heart, and allow Jesus to come and rule and reign on the throne of your heart, so that He might establish His Kingdom in you. Then His will will be done in the earth. Then His will will be done in you and I, when we allow Him to come.

I’m not talking about, “Bless us every now and then.” I’m not talking about getting humble every now and then. I’m not talking about a good Holy Ghost thrill or a chill every now and then. I’m talking about complete, one hundred percent abdication of authority, letting Jesus come and rule and reign. I wish you’d help me. So that He can establish His Kingdom. Give God praise right now, so that we can keep that anointing flowing.

26. Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken…

It’s not enough to let the voice of God shake down the towers, break down the walls, destroy the strongholds and the high places in your life. But you’ve got to so surrender to Him that He’s able to come in and sweep away the debris. I believe God’s saying something in this verse. I believe He’s telling us that deliverance is not accomplished in the tearing down of the devil’s kingdom only. But I believe He’s telling us that deliverance is not completely established until we allow the Word of God not only to tear down the wall, tear down the tower, tear down the stronghold and high place, but we allow Him to come and move out the thing that has been shaken.

Somebody ought to say, “Sweep me clean, Lord. Just come in with a Holy Ghost bulldozer and move out all of the kingdom of the devil that the Word of God has shaken loose in my life.” (Tongues) “I don’t even want the debris of it lying around. I don’t even want the reminder of it lying around.”

Because we read this morning, “He taketh away…” There’s Scripture’s fitting together here. There’s some verses locking in here.

“He taketh away the first, that He may establish the second.” We’ve got to have one kingdom broken and torn down and removed from our life, in order for that new Kingdom to be established in us. We’ve got to have the destruction of the old covenant in order for the new covenant to be established in us.

I preached to you one night during camp meeting concerning the mistake that Doctor Scofield and so many other theologians have made, because they have said in their teaching that the new covenant does not apply to us, but it is a futuristic covenant that will be established with the Jews at the end.

But we know, brother… I’ve always known. It’s not a new revelation to me. I’ve always known that Jesus died to establish a new covenant to Jew first and then to the Greek. I believe the new covenant was given to the Jews first. But as John said, “He came to His own, and His own received Him not.” And because they rejected the new covenant, it was handed down… By the tearing down of the middle wall of partition, it was handed down to you and I. And we have been made partakers of that Heavenly covenant. Hallelujah.

And verse 22 said, “We have come to Mount Zion. We’ve come to the city of the Living God. We’ve come to the Heavenly Jerusalem, and we’ve come to the innumerable company of angels. We have come to the general assembly and church of the firstborn. We’ve come.

Somebody say, “We’ve come.” We’ve come. How did we come? Because the first covenant was taken away, so that a new covenant could be established.

God no longer required dietary restriction to please Him. He no longer required so many things that we read about in the Old Testament, even concerning how the fields should be plowed. But God no longer required that of us; for Jesus, the book of Hebrews tells us, He came and offered His sacrifice, His blood upon the Mercy Seat. And being the great High Priest of Heaven, He sat down, for the work was finished. He did what no other priest could ever do. He sat down, signifying to all the work of redemption is complete.

What did He scream from Calvary’s brow? “It is finished!” What was He saying? He was saying, “This is the passing away of the first, so that the new can be established.”

God is opening the eyes of my spirit to see that in many of our ideas, many of our interpretations, we as a people, the church in general, have chosen to hold on… It’ll get real quiet here. You won’t know where I’m coming from maybe. We’ve chosen to hold on to certain aspects of the old; therefore God cannot clearly establish the new. Anybody who reads this Book ought to be able to say, “Amen.”

“Do you mean the Ten Commandments, we shouldn’t hold on to them?”

Let me tell you something. God’s commandments are yea and amen. If God said in the Old Testament, “I abhor it,” which is the strongest degree of detest and hate, I believe FHe abhors it today. I believe that it’s still holiness or hell. But I believe there are certain areas of the old covenant that the Church has tried to hold on to. And that’s why God has not be able to establish us in grace and in the new covenant, because we refuse to turn loose of the old.

But I want you to know, I want every aspect of the old to crumble in my life and be swept away, so that God can come and establish in me the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. For there is a new priesthood that must be established in the earth.

Somebody said, “What do you mean?”

It’s the priesthood… The Bible gave us the type. It’s the priesthood of Melchisedec. Jesus came in the spirit of that priesthood. But He told us there was going to be a priesthood in the last days who would serve in the order of Melchisedec. I believe God’s going to have a people that way. I believe God’s going to have a ministry like that. And when I say, “Ministry,” I don’t mean a preacher and a church. I mean a Body ministry.

I believe God’s going to raise up prophets, priests, and kings. I’m not talking about three classes of people, three groups of people, or three different people. I’m talking about one person functioning in all three of those anointings. Look this way if you can. I believe God wants every believer in the earth to flow in the river of the prophetic, to flow in the river of priesthood, which is a ministry of reconciliation, and to flow in the ministry of Kingdom authority, knowing who you are and what authority has been given unto you.

Many of you have experienced… Many of you have experienced in your life the tearing down of various ideas, the tearing down of various demonic strongholds. But God has not been able to come to you and establish His Kingdom in your heart yet, because you’ve left some old debris. You’ve left some memories. Memory and reasoning, that’s one of the ways Satan gets into our spirit, invades our soul. You’ve left some old memories. You’ve left some ruin, some debris.

And the Voice of God did not only come to shake the Kingdom of the devil. Brother, every time I say that, I feel the unction of God run over my right shoulder like a volt. Hallelujah to God. Praise the Lord. What else is there that could possibly tear down the works of the devil, but the Voice of God? We’ve allowed some things to remain. And God said in that last test, “Once more, one more time…”

27. …signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made…

Do you believe this Word? Do you believe that all created things have an end? Do you believe that all created things have a beginning, and therefore all created things have an end?

Somebody said, “What about me? I was created. Do I have an end?”

Yes. The Bible said, “The soul that sinneth shall surely die.” You’ve got an end. You had a beginning. You had an end.

Somebody said, “What about the life of a believer?”

A believer doesn’t have to meet his end. Why? Why does the believer not have to meet his end? Not because of anything in him, but because he has accepted the eternal life of God. And when the eternal life of God dwells in you, He can never die. I said, the life of God can never die. The life of God can never die. And if you and I have the life of God in us, we never die. We may lay this body down, but that which is on the inside of us will never die. But that’s the only way that we can live eternally.

The Bible said… Look here at verse 27.

27. …Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made…

Greek said, “Created.” And doesn’t that sound like the kingdom of the devil? He’s always making something new. He’s always creating something. He’s always putting something in your life.

Somebody said, “Well, the Bible… We’ve heard in this day the devil’s not a creator.”

I don’t mean that he can take from nothing and make something. He is not a creator in the sense that he can take nothing and make something. But he is a creator in the sense that he can take what’s already there and twist it up and mix it up and confuse it up and stir it up, and cause you great stress and pain. Say, “Amen.” There’s some things that he’s created. There’s some scaffolding that he’s laid up against your life. There’s some ladders that he’s placed against the wall of your spirit. He has gained entrance into your spirit. Yes, he has.

The Voice of God is sounding forth in this last day. Why now? Why now? Why now? Because we’re coming to that day. It has to be now. We’re approaching the end.

Do you know, really we’re not approaching the end? Do you know, spiritually and biblically we are not approaching the end? Biblically the end has already come, and we’re approaching the beginning. We’re at the end. We’re not really waiting on the end to get here. The end is here. We’re waiting on the beginning. Hallelujah. Praise God. That’s how close we are. Square your shoulders back; raise your head; look the devil in the eye, and remember that’s where we are. That’s how far we’ve come. We’re not waiting on the end. We’re looking unto the beginning. Let the works of the devil be defeated in your life. Not only shaken, but removed.

27. …that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Somebody said, “What is it that cannot be shaken?”

There is a Kingdom. Hear me well. There is Kingdom that the devil cannot shake. There is a Kingdom that cannot be moved.

“Where do you find that?” The next verse.

28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom…

If you’ve got a problem when I say, “The Kingdom of God is coming to man,” then it’s right there in the Word. “We receiving a kingdom.”

Oh, I could say something (I’ll let it slide) concerning John’s vision of the new City. He saw a lot more than people realize he saw. He didn’t just see a City coming. He saw Kingdom coming. And he said it came, “Like a Bride adorned for her Groom.” Glory be to God. Because he was seeing a Bride in that City who had made herself ready for the coming of her Bridegroom.

Look now at verse 28.

28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29. For our God is (Somebody say, “God is.) a consuming fire.

Say it. Our God is a consuming Fire.

We are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. It cannot be moved. So let me say to you, “Don’t fear the shaking.” Because the shaking will come to loose you from that which has been created to hold you back. The shaking will come to free you from the strategy of the devil in your life. The shaking will come to birth you into the glories of deliverance. But in order for the Kingdom of God, that unshakable, unmoveable Kingdom to be established in you, God has to first shake every other kingdom that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.

You know, there’s a kingdom in you tonight.

There’s a kingdom in you. There’s a kingdom in you. Do you know some of you have a Hollywood kingdom that’s in you? Amen. You’ve seen so many videos. You’ve seen so much worldly entertainment, until you’ve got a distorted picture of what life really is and reality really is. There’s a handful of people here tonight that would be happier if their whole life was a vacation.

Somebody said, “You don’t feel that way?”

Absolutely not. No, I don’t feel that way. But there’s at least a handful of people here tonight that are not happy unless they’re holidaying, celebrating, doing nothing.

The reason why we are that way is because we spent to many days with Robert… What was his name? Does anybody remember… No, just a moment. The British fellow. Yes. Robin Leech. We’ve spent too many days with Robin Leech. Anybody remember who that is? Good, I’m glad you don’t, but if you do, hold up your hand. Oh, yes. More of you do than don’t. I don’t know if he still has it. He probably does. But for years he had a program called, “Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous.” And he would show those water closets with golden handles, diamond studded bathtub stoppers. It’s a sick, sick human that has to have a diamond on his flush.

My wife and I were listening to a sales pitch for a little while while we were gone. And a man looked at her and he said, “If I gave you a carat diamond ring today,” he said, “You wouldn’t refuse it.”

She said, “Oh yes, I would.”

He looked at me and he said, “What does she mean?”

I said, “She would have no use for it. It would mean nothing to us.”

But we’ve seen those Olympic size swimming pools with umbrellas and frozen towels. They have a little room there with a freezer in it where they freeze the bath towels, so that when you get out of the pool on a hot day, you can wrap yourself in a frozen towel like a popsicle. And they build these big beds, round, and heart shape…

You know what the world is all about. And some of you, you young ones, you… Oh huh. Some of you may not know who Robin Leech was, but I guarantee you you’ve seen enough movies and enough videos that the lifestyle of the rich has been painted very, very beautiful for you, and desirable to most people. But I want you to know, some of the richest people that have ever lived, some of those most brilliant men that have ever lived with riches and fame have died in misery.

Earnest Hemingway, one of the greatest authors of our time, known for great, great pieces of literature, but one that was read in high schools across America, “The Old Man In The Sea.” Is that what it was called? He made his home in Cuba. Wealthy palace. And when… He was a friend of Fidel Castro. And when Castro took power, Hemingway had to flee, leave all of that riches behind. He ended up in the Keys of Florida. He traveled all over the world enjoying the richest, finest things. But it didn’t buy him pleasure, and he committed suicide with his hunting rifle. He loved to go on game hunts and kill elephants, and all of this big game, but he ended up killing his own self with his own rifle. That stuff didn’t buy him pleasure.

I want you to know, and you already know but let me remind you, the world will sell you a big old bill of goods. And we have taken our refreshment from Hollywood until some of us have the kingdom of Hollywood built up in our lives.

We’ve read true love stories until no woman can be happy with her husband. No woman can be satisfied with her man, because he’s not Fabbio, or Fabio, or whatever his name is. We’ve allowed the devil to build all kinds of kingdoms in our lives.

And we’re going to have to have a real shaking. There’s going to be a real time of sacrifice. There’s going to be a time of giving up a lot of ideas and pleasures and things. When the Fire of God comes to consume us, when the Voice of deliverance shakes every kingdom in our life, you’re going to feel those kingdoms crumbling in you and around you. But it’s the only way. Help me, somebody. It’s the only way that the Kingdom of Jesus Christ can be established in you. The kingdoms of this world must give way.

Some of you have allowed the devil to build in you a kingdom of rebellion. And let me tell you, it didn’t start when you were a teenager. It started when you could barely walk around. For we all know who know that children are born with the seed of rebellion in them. And if it’s not broken when they’re toddlers, many times it will lay beneath the surface until the right hour, and it’ll manifest and cause pain and grief.

We’ve seen it in our own son. We know that it… Let me tell you something. My wife paddled our son while we were gone with her hand. She popped his leg. We’ve been doing that since he was less than 6 months old. And we know that people don’t think it’s the right idea a lot of times. I’ve told my wife to be careful about how she scolded him in public, because I didn’t want to have to get into it with somebody, you know. Because I heard about a case where somebody was scolding their child, and a man walked over and socked him in the nose. And I didn’t want to get into it.

My wife was scolding our son because he was doing something very dangerous. He wouldn’t sit down in the wagon. And we knew he would fall out and hurt himself. And she was scolding him. She popped him on the leg. And an old woman was standing close enough to us. And I glanced over at her, and she said something like, “I’ve never seen anything like that in my life!”

And I scolded my wife a little. I said, “Honey, let’s just wait until we get out, because I don’t want to have to tell that woman…” You know what I wanted to tell her? “Stick around, lady. Because if he stands up again, I’m going to get him.” Because I don’t want him falling out and breaking his head. How many of you know it’s better for him to rub his leg for a few moments than for me to have to scoop his brains up and try to stuff it back in his head on the way to the emergency room. And you think…

Somebody said, “It’s just a child being a child.”

Yes, but it’s also many times that seed of rebellion. I saw him in Canada. He knows what no means, and he minds me when I say, “No.” But there was a little opening on the central vacuum system in my in-laws’ house. And the little door would come up and down. It clicked and made a noise. He’d reach for every figurine. I told him, “No,” and he’d draw back.

We’ve not moved anything in our house. Not one figurine has been moved, because we watch him. There’s just one way to say it. We watch him. Now if my wife was in another room and he was back there, we couldn’t trust him. But since he’s just one year old, my wife is not in another room. She’s in the room where he is. So we watch him. And when he starts for something, we say, “No,” he pulls back.

But this thing clicked. And he liked to hear it click. And I popped his hand. And he’d look at me and reach again. I popped his hand. He’d reach again. I popped his hand. He’d reach again. I popped his hand. He’d reach again.

I said, “I want you to know, I’m not going anywhere.” Every time I drew back a little higher. And finally he decided that he didn’t want that little clicking door any more. I saw in him that day that little seed of rebellion that said, “I’m going to do what I want to do, because you’ll surely give up in a minute and let me have my way.”

Some of you got your way. There’s no other way to describe you humanly or spiritually, but to say you’re spoiled rotten with the kingdom of rebellion in you. No wonder you can’t pray through. No wonder you can’t live more than a day for Jesus. No wonder you can’t walk in deliverance, because He cannot establish His Kingdom in you, unless all other kingdoms are broken.

Somebody said, “Woe is me. How will I ever make it? How will I ever come to that place?”

You must surrender and allow the voice of deliverance to come forth and break every kingdom in your heart, so that once and for all His Kingdom can be established in you.

The kingdom of jealousy or whatever, whatever. You know it, anything that controls you. If there’s something inside of you that dictates your life, your response, your reaction, and when you have time to sit down and think about it and you realize, “I would have never done that. That’s not what I meant to do. That’s not what I wanted to do…” If there is ever a time when you find yourself out of control, or doing something and later realizing, “That is not what I meant to do,” there’s another kingdom warring in your life.

You and I would do a whole lot less repenting and a whole lot less making things right if we would allow the Word of God to destroy every contrary kingdom in our heart, so that Jesus could establish His Kingdom in us. Those things are products of kingdoms that have been long in establishing in our hearts. And Jesus can’t sit on the throne of your heart if some other spirit is ruling and reigning. Therefore He desires to send His consuming fire to cleanse and to purify.

I’m going to give two more verses and close, although I’ve got a full fork tonight.

Isaiah chapter 33. Look there for just a moment. Hallelujah. Thank You, Jesus. Isaiah 33:13-14

13. Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.

14. The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

15. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

16. He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

17. Thine eyes shall see the king in is his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

18. Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

19. Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.

20. Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnites: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

21. But there the glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

22. For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; he will save us.

23. Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.

24. And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

Do you realize that promise is for me? I wish you’d mark that in your Bible. That’s rich.

14. …Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Our God is that consuming fire, and He desires that we dwell with Him. But how many of you know you can’t take fire into your bosom and not be burned? If you’re going to dwell with God and He is a fire, you’re going to have to be willing to let Him consume the kingdoms that hinder you from what God has called you to.

Do you know, one of the things I like… I’m closing.

Musicians, come. One of the things I like about that verse said this, “The lame take the prey.”

23. ..Then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.

24. And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick:

It’s a promise of our eternal dwelling in the Kingdom of God. The lame shall take the prey.

Somebody said, “You think we’re going to be lame over there?”

No. That’s not what He’s saying to us at all. He’s saying, “It will not be according to your capability.” How many of you know it takes the swift to kill and take the prey? It’s not the crippled cheetah that takes the antelope. But the Bible said, “In that kingdom the lame shall take the prey.”

God’s saying, “It’ll be yours. It’s yours. It’s your promise.” Standing on the promises of God. This is your promise. Who shall dwell with the fire of the Lord? I will.

Jeremiah 23:29, He said,

29. Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breakeh the rock in pieces?

Stand with me tonight.

Tuesday night we’ll move further, the Lord willing. Sometimes preaching like this and like I did in camp meeting, jumping from verse to verse, it’s difficult for you to follow. That’s why we spend the amount of time, effort, and money that we do to make the tapes available to you. Because we believe there’s something in them that is worth hearing and studying again.

I noticed there’s just a handful of tapes left in there from camp meeting. And I don’t know how many were made. I think at least 40 of some of them. Weren’t there? I believe they made at least 40 copies of some of them and more. And I notice there’s just a handful, just a few tapes left of the camp meeting. If you’d like to get them, get them while you’re out here. It’s a great opportunity for you to get them while we’re still out here.

I realize, all during camp meeting I’d be on one verse and then another verse and then another verse and another verse. And I can’t help it. I don’t want to confuse you. I just want to lay a foundation. But I hope that you’ve been able to get something tonight.

“Once more I will shake all that can be shaken, so that that which cannot be shaken may remain, may be established.”

If this shaking in your life means the establishment of the Kingdom of Christ, how many of you are willing to be shook? It has nothing to do with whether or not you’re willing, but I’m just asking you. Are you willing for God to shake you tonight?

Prophecy:

The Spirit of the Lord said right now, “I’m looking for a bendable people.” He said, “I’m looking for a people that I can move on, and they’ll bend with Me, they’ll flow as I flow, and bend as I bend.”

But in times past, you have been a people, saith the Lord, so rigid, so stiff, that I’ve not been able to bend you with the wind of My Spirit.

But the Lord would say unto thee this night, if you will rend your heart, if you will allow your heart to be torn before Me… the Lord would say unto thee. I’m not calling for the tearing of your garment. I’m calling for the tearing of your heart.

For the Lord would say, “It is a custom in days gone by, when there was a separation in a family, when someone was disowned or disinherited, there was many times the ripping of a garment, saith the Lord, symbolizing a death.

But yea, the Lord would say unto thee, I have seen the tearing of your garment, and I’ve watched you go and mend the garment, or I’ve watched you go and make another one just like the one you’ve torn, forgetting the things that you died to.

But yea the Lord would say unto thee this night, I am not calling unto thee to rend your garment any longer. I’m calling thee to rip and rend your heart. For it is My desire to move upon thee in a heavy fashion. Yea, it is My desire to cover thee, even like a cocoon, saith the Spirit of the Lord, that I would be able to move among thee, and you would be bendable and obedient.

And yea, when I would flow in one direction, you would be able bend. And when My Spirit would turn and flow in another direction, you would be able to bend in that manner, saith the Lord. Yea, the Lord would say unto thee, allow yourself to be broken before Me. For the things that I am about to do among you will cause you great joy and great rejoicing, saith the Lord. But in order to eat that which I have already gotten for you, you must allow me this night to flow among you in such a way that you’re willing to respond. Respond unto Me, saith the Lord. And I will flow among you with the depth of the river of My Anointing. And yea, I will cause you to dwell in the places of joy, saith the Lord.

Hallelujah. God, let us be a bendable people. Let us be a moldable people. Let us be a pliable people.

Reach your hand toward the Lord right now.

Jesus, here we are. Here we are, Lord. Help us to be sensitive. Fire of God, fall in us.

If you feel the Spirit of the Lord drawing you, come and gather with me for just a moment around the altar. I’m not going to hold you unnecessarily long. We’re going to receive communion and foot washing before we go. But if you feel the Spirit pricking you, moving in you, dealing with you in any way, let’s come together right now.

Just join with somebody right near you right now and pray. I’m not going to pray for you. I’m going to believe that God will give you the prayer for yourself. I’m not even going to lead you in prayer, but I want every one of you that can to call on the Lord right now. Just call on the Lord. “Lord, You see what I need. Lord, you see what I need. I need that Fire. I need the shaking of every contrary kingdom. I need the tearing down of every contrary kingdom.” In the Name of Jesus. Every habit broken. In the Name of Jesus. Let Him fill you with hope. Oh, yes. Hallelujah. Oh Jesus, tonight.

God, may the kingdom of the devil, may the contrary kingdoms be crumbled tonight. And may they not only be crumbled, but may the delivering Voice of God remove them out of the way. May we be swept clean by the Anointing of the Holy Ghost. May the bulldozer of Glory just come and bulldoze away all the rubble, all the memories of that which has once reigned in us. Let even the memory of that which has once ruled us, let it be driven away and pushed aside. Oh God, may the foundation be cleared again, so that you may come and build Your Kingdom on us.

Oh, My Father, Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Oh, Jesus. We as Pentecostals have almost lived as though the Lord’s Prayer was beneath us. But here we’ve lived it all. And we come back, and we’re reduced to the simplicity of the prayer that You prayed, “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done.” Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those that trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. We submit ourselves to the spirit of truth. We humble ourselves before the spirit of truth this night. In the Name of Jesus.
