Beware Of The Eclipse

Isa 21:11-12

11 The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?

12 The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will inquire, inquire ye: return, come.

INTRO: It has been said that there is something wrong with a human who is in love with the darkness.  We know that God is Light, and Satan’s tactics are better represented by the Darkness.  Darkness has always signified that which is Evil.  Light has always been symbolic of that which is good.

Light

 

Ÿ  Ps 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Ÿ  Ps 97:11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Ÿ  John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

Ÿ  1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

SO WE SEE THAT THE LIGHT IS OF GOD!!

Darkness

 

Ÿ  Job 3:6 As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.

7 Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.

Ÿ  Ps 104:20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

Ÿ  Prov 4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

Ÿ  John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Ÿ  There is something about the darkness.  Almost all robberies happen when it is night, or dark.  Burglaries, Rape, Suicide all of these horrible things most of the time happen in the night!!

Ÿ  There is something about the Darkness. Something about the Shadowlands, the Netherworld.  The Darkness seems to bring out the depravity of humanity.

Eternal Plan of Separation

 

In Genesis 1:1 we see the Eternal Plan of separation revealed in scripture

Gen 1:1-4

1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Reaction of God to Darkness : SEPARATION

 

3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

In Vs 2 – God’s Spirit has always moved against Darkness.  There has always been an eternal struggle between light & dark, good & evil.

Ÿ  It is the will of God to come in to your Night Season & Dark Hour and move & change the Dark to Light!!

Seasons

 

Vs 14 – Gen 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

This begins to deal with the Solar Realm, The Sun, Moon, & the Stars.  If you read on further you find God divides things into 4 Specifics Seasons for a Purpose –  This is done so the you could put a seed in the ground, So the Sun could shine upon it & it would grow.  And each season spanned a certain time & thru the process of the earth turning on her axis, working in harmony with the Sun, Moon, and the Stars, each of these wore needed in order to bring a Harvest.  God knew that there had to be a changing of seasons for4 something to come to pass.

Day Creatures & Night Creatures

 

With this changing of Seasons came Day Creatures and Night Creatures.  There is what is called Solar Creatures & Nocturnal Creatures.  Or Day Creatures and Night Creatures.

Ÿ  Humans are basically Solar or Day creatures.  We were basically created since the beginning to work while it is Day.  The Sun rose up – You went to work.  When the Sun sets – It time to go to bed.

There are several creatures in the animal kingdom that are in these categories….

Ÿ  Solar or Day Creatures: Rooster is Solar, he will let you know in the morning that he is a solar creature. The Horse, Cow, Chicken, Lambs & Goats are all basically Solar Creatures.

Ÿ  Nocturnal or Night Creatures:  These creatures come out at night. Possums, Rats, Skunks, Wolves, Raccoons, Bobcats, Coyotes, and Bats.  These are all Creatures you would not want to meet up with!!

BAD THINGS COME OUT AT NIGHT!!

There is one thing that throws everything off balance…….

Eclipse

 

An Eclipse is a very unique thing….Definition:  A total or Partial blocking of One celestial body by another.  Whether it is a Lunar Eclipse to where the moon is blocked, or Solar- Where the Sun is blocked.  It is something that throws everything off scale or balance…

Solar Eclipse – This where the Sun should be shining, but the Earth is in a rotation at a particular time & a particular moment, and that which is day is interrupted and there is Darkness.

THIS IS CONFUSION!!!!

Ÿ  The rooster has just crowed & is ready to begin his day.  The Horse has just trotted out of the barn.  The Raccoon & the Bobcat have just settled into their Den & everything is as it should be.       BUT WHAT THEY DID NOT PLAN ON WAS AN ECLIPSE!!!

Ÿ  An Eclipse throws everything off cycle & setting.  An Eclipse is when the Sun is blocked & things turn dark & and things turn back the CREATURES OF THE DAY BECOME CONFUSED, AND THE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT BECOMED AWAKENED!!

IT IS OUT OF SEASON…..IT IS NOT THEIR TIME TO COME OUT BUT THEY DO…

Beware of the Eclipse of the Soul

 

Every Man and Woman has 2 Parts: Flesh & Spirit….Light and Darkness

There has always been a warfare between them….

Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A CONSTANT WARFARE!!!

Flesh & Darkness

 

Gal 5:19- Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God

Spirit & Light

 

Gal 5:22- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

THERE ARE 2 NATURES.. WE MUST NOT LET ANYTHING BLOCK US OR ECLIPSE US FROM THE LIGHT!!!

WE CANNOT LET THE EVIL OR THE FLESH TO ARISE IN US… WE MUST BEWARE OF THE ECLIPSE!!!
