                              Big Head or Little Nail?

Saints, are you allowing the Holy Spirit to mold you into a nail that God’s Glory may hang upon your life? How much of the weight of His Glory can you bear? How much of God’s glory can He hang on your life?

Isaiah 22:23,24And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.

And they shall hang upon him all the glory of His father’s Big Head or Little Nail? Saints are you allowing the Holy Spirit to mold you into a nail that God’s Glory may hang upon your life? How much of the weight of His Glory can you bear? How much of God’s glory can He hang on your life?

Isaiah 22:23,24And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house. And they shall hang upon him all the glory of His father’s house….

Jesus is the Priceless Nail that the Father chose to hang ALL of His glory upon.

Saints, please don’t make a fool of yourself trying to be a big head when all you need to be is a little nail!

Let’s take a look at some principles from the Word of God.

1. This Nail Had to be Tested

Do you find yourself murmuring because of the process? Are you rebelling against the very pressures that are designed to “squeeze” the oil of anointing through your life?

Jesus was tested with persecutions, rejections, humiliation and dishonor. If you want the glory of God in your ministry, you must be tested.

“And the fire shall try every man’s work…” I Corinthians 3:13

2. The Nail Was Hidden by the Object That Hung Upon It

If you have self-driven ambition to be the big head of some ministry, you will never qualify to be the little nail. If you are craving the spotlight instead of the hidden moonlight with Him, then you will never be the little nail to carry the weight of His glory.

John 1:14And we beheld His glory.

In John’s Gospel, John is never VISIBLE, and Jesus is never INVISIBLE. John hid himself in the “we”. The people of God of this revival generation are hungry to see Jesus. Little Nail, delight to be hidden so that His Glory can be seen.

3. No Little Nail Equals No Greater Glory

Saints, we need to examine ourselves. Have we produced a generation of ministries that want to be Big Heads instead of Little Nails?

Could it be that we cannot support the weight of God’s glory with the degree of pride that has weakened the ministry?

Saints, there is a generation now that is hungry for a real walk with Jesus. No fluff, no big heads, are needed….just little nails.

Isaiah 2:12–For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Saints, keep a repentant heart, humble yourself and watch Him hang His Glory upon His chosen Nail!

Inside the Seed

Acts 13:1Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Of these five mentioned leaders, we have Jew and Gentile, young and old and varied colors, as well. The Church needs diverse leadership!

Leadership Lines

Self-centeredness blocks compassion toward others.

Direction is more important than speed.

Never discuss what you want others to forget.

No person can be right all the time.

God defies human conclusions.

What is the motive behind your actions?

What is acceptable for a child, may not be for an adult.

Popularity or Purpose? Choose One.

Prophetic Word

I am looking for little nails says the Lord. I can start with you where you are now. You are the exact material that I am searching for. Come to Me with your whole being and I will continue my work and shall prepare you for the Glory that is just ahead.

You have been planted, but I still have to crack the shell of your flesh. This will happen says the Lord as you submit to Me and make My Name glorious in your life.

I have reserved a measure of My Glory for this particular season in My Church. Be ready for this, says the Lord. Much sorrow will come upon all who reject Me. Receive what I am doing in your life, remain hidden in Me and My glory shall flow like oil, like honey, and like wine, says the Lord.
