DON’T LET GO!

(John 13:21 KJV)  When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

(John 13:22 KJV)  Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.

(John 13:23 KJV)  Now there was leaning on Jesus’ bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

(John 13:24 KJV)  Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.

(John 13:25 KJV)  He then lying on Jesus’ breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

(John 13:26 KJV)  Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

(John 13:27 KJV)  And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

·        How many times Jesus prayed for Judas.

·        How many times did he try to encourage him.

·        How many times did he put his arm around him and lift him up.

Immediately after Jesus “LET GO”, Satan entered him.

Jesus had to give the outward sign,

·        Once Jesus let go all of hell broke loose in Judas’s life.

·        Once Jesus stopped praying Judas was up for grabs.

Satan used him to betray Jesus

I’m here to tell you tonight Satan can’t move until you give up.

He has no power unless you stop praying!

He has no authority unless you stop interceding!

Jesus saw it coming

·        He saw the look on Judas face when the woman broke the alabaster box over his head

·        He heard Judas say it could have sold…We could have made a profit

·        He saw the gleam in Judas’s eye when the offerings came in.

But Satan never had control of him until Jesus let go.

(Eph 6:13 KJV)  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Satan can’t have free reign in your family unless you stop praying for it.

·        He can’t destroy your marriage until you let go of it.

·        He can’t have your kids until you give them up.

·        He can’t take your job unless you walk away.

There has to be some physical manifestation of your release.
