In order to understand the picture of the reason God disallowed man to enter to eat fruit of life, and later allowed others, but not all, we have to understand what SIN DOES. People with sin cannot eat fruit of life. Everyone is born in sin, just as all males are born in need of circumcision. Physical circumcision is not required, of course, today.
