What Makes Us Pentecostal?

In this sermon What Makes Us Pentecostal, Faith is more than just a mental assent that says, “I believe there is a God.” Faith involves trust, commitment, and application. Faith means that there are acts of obedience that takes place along with that faith. There is something about being a Pentecostal where that you have the thinking that God is presently active in your life.  He can hear you right now and is concerned about the details that are going on in your life. We believe God is next to you and all you have to do is to reach out for him.  We are born into sin and therefore we are called sinners. But, there is a God who can intervene with salvation. Another thing that makes us Pentecostal is our absolute confidence in the Word of God.  We believe  we're led by the Spirit. But, we are no more full of the Spirit than we are of the Word
