In this sermon Unworthy Of The Cup, Jesus is the sinless man, the lamb without blemish that takes away the sins of the world. He didn’t deserve the punishment decreed for sinners; he was unworthy of the cup of God’s judgment. As we go forth, remember the commitment you made to God and the others in this Church. When you took that bread and wine, you were taking on the sacrifice of the Cross through Jesus’ body and blood into your life once again. You renewed your commitment to Him and the rest of the church body.
