It judges by outward appearance and afflicts the flesh in order to gain power. This is a corruption of the cross of Christ. Holiness is born in love!  It is the behavior of royalty.  True holiness transcends the flesh by gracing the heart with a delight in the commands of the Lord.  Holiness is the new affection of a new heart.
