When David would win a battle, he would take the enemy’s armor and weapons an would bring them home as trophies of victory. After Solomon built the temple, these numerous trophies were hung up in the house of the Lord. These items that symbolized victory were placed in the house of the Lord. The trophies became Symbols and Reminders of Noble Men. We must never forget that it is to the Lord that we owe any success we have ever achieved. When we try to go in our own strength, we are defeated.  This battle will not be won in the flesh.  This is a spiritual battle that is won in the fervency of our praise and worship! You never fought with a sin, temptation, or with a doubt, and overthrew it, but by the help of God’s Spirit!
