Love and Anger
In this sermon Love and Anger, if we can determine to build our lives according to the pattern set forth in scripture we are promised strength hope and direction. We must at times be willing to give in and submit to win, according to God’s standards. I must let go of control and allow the Holy Ghost to steer. The last thing any of us need in our homes is negativity and running each other down and moodiness. This will infest homes like termites and eat away the studs and pillars that hold up our families. We need to exterminate these bugs. Starve moodiness with wisdom. Understand that the enemy loves to use our own emotions against us. Bring them under subjection to the Holy Ghost. It doesn’t matter how we feel we should be polite to one another especially those in our homes. If you get hurt or ticked off. We react naturally and that is usually to counter attack. Like a mallet hitting your knee causing it to jerk. Instead of reacting stop for a few moments and respond. Responding is a mature and wise way to handle situations that arise. You take a few moments to think and measure what you are going to say. Instead of responding with anger and chaos we respond with pleasing God in our minds.
