In this lesson, I've Got You Covered, we have all heard that phrase and perhaps have used it on occasion. But what exactly does it mean? You had the means to pay for it but someone else stepped in and paid it for you. I’ve got you covered. It means in this sense, that someone else paid the debt that was yours. Someone else took your place. In other words, you didn’t do anything to deserve the righteousness that God gave you. But God imputed it to you anyway. You really should have had to pay the price for your sin but God stepped up and said, “I’ve got you covered.”
