The altar was torn down there were no longer any tears and Baal had become the God of the people.  Baal a God that could answer no prayer and consume no sacrifice with fire. A god designed by man that put no conviction upon their sinful activity.  A god that would not and could not answer any prayer.  There is still that kind of god living today, a god of convenience a god that says all I need to do is feel good about myself. I am saying the same thing that Elijah said; if you are going to serve God then serve God and if you are going to serve Satan serve Satan!! What I am saying is, it is time you make up your mind who you are going to serve.
