A rut is caused by going forward and backward. There is no way to get to Heaven except to go forward. Throughout the Bible, you'll find people who want to go forward but wind up in bad places causing them to go backward. They fail to keep the momentum. They fail to accelerate enough to get out of the mire because they stop just before they get unstuck. In this lesson, we learn if you are in a rut, Jesus is the answer to your situation. When you get the right help the right power the one who knows all about your situation he can deliver you. We cannot afford to get satisfied and go forward then backward.
