The following verse lists 5 positive things about Naaman, and one bad. 2 Kings 5:1 Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the LORD had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper. The bad item was bad enough to keep him from enjoying the other 5 positive traits.  What good does Position, Respect,  Character, Victory and Strength do you if you are poisoned by a disease that can kill you?  We can be in the same situation - our disease is SIN and we all have it! We must realize our need then we must recognize the promise.
