12 Stones, 2 Sticks and Strangers

12 Stones, 2 Sticks and Strangers

In this sermon: 12 Stones 2 Sticks and Strangers, we learn how to recall the victories of past generations and use them for the assurance of present victory. The twelve stones have to do with the memorial stones stacked up at Gilgal as a memorial unto the Lord. This speaks of past experience. The two sticks have to do with the widow woman in Zarephath that told Elijah she was gathering two sticks to make her and her son’s last meal, and then they would starve to death. This speaks of present expectation. The strangers have to do with the pilgrims mentioned in the Hall of Faith – Hebrews chapter 11. They were uncomfortable in this world.
