There was one gift that is obviously missing from this story and that is the one that signifies Christ’s Lordship over the lives of His people. This gift, however, cannot be given in a moment because it takes a lifetime to present. The reason for the missing gift that day was because God’s Word was waiting for you and me to complete this scene. Give the gift of your life as a living sacrifice to God.
