Do you have an Active Membership?

In this sermon Convictions Never Go On Sale, the world is having an increasingly difficult time dealing with men and women of conviction. Those who hold strong convictions based on biblical teachings are especially under the gun today.  The societal ills mentioned earlier comprise only part of these convictions. Convictions also include theological positions, the doctrine of salvation, church missions, and biblical standards of dress and conduct.  Anyone who clings to the biblical position on these ideas suffers increasing pressure to lighten up on their dogmatism.  They're not necessarily challenged on the correctness of their views but on the rigidity with which they hold them. We must pay the price to reside at truth's address.  Our convictions rest firmly upon the foundation of the Word of God.  The increasing pressure to change must serve only to reinforce our commitment.  If we suffer for the name of Jesus, let it not be our veil of shame but our badge of honor.
