In this final lesson of the series, we talk about, Fasting For Breakthrough. I believe there are some miracles that we need to happen. Some need healing, others need jobs, but more importantly, we as a church must have a breakthrough of new souls experiencing the new birth of Water and Spirit. With this in mind, this lesson teaches about “Fasting For Breakthrough.” Did you know, Jesus spent more time teaching about fasting than baptism or repentance? If Jesus spent much time teaching about fasting, I think we, as His followers, should pay close attention and should begin practicing the spiritual discipline of fasting. No matter what Century we live in or how many fast food places there are around us, we have an obligation to make fasting a part of our walk with God. Fasting is always done in unison with prayer. You can pray without fasting but you cannot truly fast without prayer. When you fast and pray it will humble your soul so you can hear from God.
