In this sermon You Are The Light Of The World, At the very beginning the  first thing that God created was light. The earth was without form. It was void and empty. The only thing on the earth was water. The bible says that darkness was upon the face of the waters. Darkness was everywhere. But it is important to understand that darkness was present only because light was absent. Darkness is not a substance. Darkness is not a force or energy. It has no power. Darkness is merely the absence of light. It has no qualities of life to it. Darkness cannot reflect anything. It cannot transmit or radiate. When light comes, darkness has no choice but to leave. When God spoke light into existence at creation, He brought life to this world! Light is the source of life. [Read less]
