The tree of life represents God and His goodness, and involves Jesus as the vine and the true Christian as the Branch. The tree of the knowledge of good and evil represents the enemy, the devil and the world, and his branches. Your a branch of one of only two trees. But by the end of the Bible, in the Book of Revelation, we find that there are not going to be both trees in the city as there were in the garden. There is only going to be the tree of life.
