Do you have an Active Membership?

In this sermon I Can Do It, Having faith means not trusting our own understanding or natural ability. Having faith means losing the “I Can Do It’ mentality and saying to God, “I Need Your Help”. Not everybody understands that God will work for us if we let him. According to the scripture, God is looking for people who will let Him work in their lives. He is looking for people who are done with trying to do it by themselves. He’s looking for people who have grown tired of having the “I can do it!” mentality. Time after time after time we have gone the wrong way, done the wrong things, said the wrong stuff, acted the wrong way and basically behaved in a way that is contrary to the will of God in our lives to the point that God has no influence or effect in our lives to guide us toward righteous living.
