I want to share with you a letter I received from Rev. Fred Childs recently. I believe from time to time we need to stop and thank the Lord for what he has done and what He is doing in this world. Our generation is a generation whose hope and faith is not in the Lord. It is our job as leaders of His Church to proclaim to the world that He is still on the throne and that He is well able to meet their needs. I share this with you to boost your faith and the faith of those you minister to. I personally intend to share this in a message of Faith the next time I preach.
Brethren,
I wanted to send a brief summary of what God is doing. This year has been incredible with healings and miracles happening everywhere. I give the pastor’s names so it can be verified.
We have had hundreds of healings and miracles happen this year, as well as many people receiving the Holy Ghost.
Last week At Johnny Godair’s there were dozens of instant miracles and healings, including three people with severe problems from broken backs and surgeries were healed instantly!
At Greg Steele’s in Johnson City two weeks ago, many healings happened. One was a lady who had not been to church in four years (she attends Ken Phillips church in Austin) was brought to Bro. Steele’s on Sunday night. She knew my wife and I, and my wife ministered to her. She was healed of severe fibromialgia and Crone’s disease. She had been on morphine and it would not stop the pain. She was dying, she is now healed.
In Barry Sutton’s church a few weeks ago a lady who had on a foot cast had torn her Achilles tendon loose. The nerve was torn and ligaments were damaged. She was instantly healed and took off the cast to dance and run. God completely healed it and her acute asthma at the same time. She was to have begun intensive physical therapy the next morning for four weeks at the doctor’s order. Not now!
At Nathan Scoggins in Lufkin numerous miracles occurred. On one Sunday night last month there three severe cases of diabetes confirmed healed. Another minister was healed of hypoglycemia, the worst case I had ever heard of. One candy bar would have killed him! He had been admitted to the emergency room over 60 times last year. He was instantly healed. Two weeks later he preached there and ate candy while he preached. His testimony of healing was incredible.
This month a young lady in Terry Pugh’s church testified of having a blood sugar count exceeding 900. She had an injection pump and received 9 injections per day. She testified of being healed on a Sunday night about three weeks ago. Her blood sugar count remained normal after that night, with no injections at all!The doctor had warned her against having children her diabetes had been so severe.
A young lady at Nate Scoggins was having severe internal problems. The doctor had ordered her to have a complete hysterectomy. She was only 21 years old and unmarried. She was instantly healed and the healing confirmed. God also healed damaged ligaments in her leg at the same time!
John Arcovio’s wife (St. Joseph, MO.) was instantly healed of a severe back injury. She had not traveled in two years due to 24 hour pain. She has had no pain since that service, and has traveled on multiple long trips since. There were about 15 miracles in that one service! One included a young man with a disease that prevents blood flow to his extremities. He would get frostbite symptoms in normal weather. He was instantly healed, testifying if pink fingernails for the first time in his life!
A young man had just broken his leg and had on a full leg cast. He was in intense pain. In one service at Bro. Cliff Lejeune’s church many miracles happened, including this young man’s instant healing. He danced on his cast in front of the church! He had told his pastor before service that his leg hurt so bad that he was not sure he could get through the service!
We have observed everything from limbs being stretched to deaf ears being opened. Hundreds more. It has been a year of diabetes healings almost everywhere. It would take a book to catalog just what has happened this year. To God be all of the praise!
